Not So Different is a 14″ x 14″ mixed media piece. It is comprised of MDF, wood, plastic figures, acrylic paint, and cotton. These guys all look pretty much the same, so it’s probably some sort of family portrait. Though a closer look reveals that none of them share the same last name. Maybe they’re not related at all, but are a lot more alike than they initially thought.

I Don’t Think I Fit In is a 26″ x 18″ mixed media piece. It is comprised of acrylic paint on cut pieces of MDF. The central figure in this piece is looking to the sky, not able to get airborne, soiled by the harsh world around him, and not believing he might fit into the comfort of the building right in front of him. However, as evidenced by the numerous windows, it is full of entities just like him.

An Advertisement is blatant self-promotion. I made this 24″ x 12″ acrylic painting for my work that was on display at Hot & Cold here in Nashville. Sort of in the same style as my Alice in Wonderland paintings, I just did a group shot of characters from my comic, Octopus Turf. I was hoping the painting might pique interest in Hot & Cold patrons to purchase my first two issues for the Kindle….it did not.

The second issue of my manga, Octopus Turf #02, is now available to purchase for $0.99 for either the Nook or the Kindle.
